Nestled in the heart of Kings Cross, the Skip Garden is a little oasis of joy, filled with wild flowers, vegetables and beehives, all sprouting from skips. With a Scandi-style wooden café serving zingingly fresh grub grown just outside its front door, this little slice of sustainable heaven has managed to knit together an entire community.

Everything in this Global Generation project, from the Moroccan yurt to the alfresco pizza oven, has been salvaged from the nearby construction site. Then lovingly recycled by thousands of hands to create what is, without doubt, one of the sweetest spots in London town.
